 Repowered in 2011 with white Twin Evinrude 250 motors 571 hrs., The legendary 290 Tarpon is a large well equipped fishing machine with combination leaning post, bait prep station with freshwater sink and recirculating live well. Three insulated overboard draining fish wells, and numerous tackle drawers. The 290 has 55 gallons of baitwell capacity. Like all Stamas boats, it has a stable and seaworthy ride with a wide sturdy beam, plus a functional cockpit design that revolutionized the “big boat” center console concept.
